Where shall we go if X is pay to play?

So I’m curious and have been pondering this for a bit. Twitter /“X” had a great IT/Networking/Infosec community prior to Elon taking over. Now you need X, Mastodon, BlueSky, Discord, Signal, and a plethora of soup cans to locate half the people that used to dominate the Twitter timelines. It’s almost as bad as needing 47 streaming platforms…

So where is the best place? Can we turn THIS forum I to a place to collaborate, commentate, and commiserate? Where do we find out about the newest local cons? The cool new bug, hacking tool, or CVE? I don’t have the time or brain power to scavenge 37 social media platforms nor the interest to post the same post 3 times …

Give me 1 or 2 spots, let’s build out this forum, or all create a signal or telegram group.

This platform isn’t going anywhere. I’d love for people to help me build this place out and make it our own. Other forums suffer from over moderation and enshitification. I’d like this platform to be a breath of fresh air.

Agreed. Building a platform doesn’t happen over night. I’m sure this place will be popping in a few months after I’ve published more content. This damn bronchitis is gonna kill me.

I would also like to know. I have all the above as well, I’ve been using RSS Feeds but it’s not the same. So I’m looking to find a consolidated place again and not jump around.
